Plum Creek Farmers Market
Description
The Castle Rock (Plum Creek Valley Farmers Market) has been around since 1987. It was started by a Douglas County Master Gardener in cooperation with the CSU Extension Office. The Market emphasizes vegetables and fruits and there are three large vegetable growers and two large fruit growers that sell at the market. In addition, there are many specialty items sold and an information booth manned by Master Gardeners to answer questions related to horticulture and food safety.
